Rooms at Beaufort House Inn
Built in 1894, this romantic bed and breakfast has been beautifully restored and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
Our 11 guestrooms offer the architectural charm of a Queen Anne Victorian and the luxuries of a boutique hotel. This property was previously the Asheville residence to actor Charlton Heston and his wife, Lydia. Situated in the quiet residential neighborhood of the Chestnut Hill Historic District, and minutes from downtown Asheville, it sits on 1.5 acres of beautiful landscaped grounds and gardens.
This grand home is the perfect place to spend a romantic honeymoon, anniversary, or special getaway weekend. We offer a number of packages to choose from, and we can always arrange a “special touch” awaiting your arrival ~ fresh cut flowers, “sparkling beverages”, and/or gourmet chocolates.
The Beaufort House Inn staff takes pride in offering personalized service in a comfortable atmosphere with the amenities you would expect at a luxury hotel. Our spacious rooms all have private baths, featuring various combinations of king and queen-size beds, luxury linens, two-person Jacuzzis, antique claw tubs with showers, LCD TVs, Wi-Fi, fireplaces, and private porches, decks, balconies, and terraces.
