Chihuly at Biltmore Daytime

What: Chihuly at Biltmore is the first art exhibition in Biltmore’s gardens. It will be the first garden exhibition of Chihuly’s works in North Carolina.

Who: Dale Chihuly is an American glass sculptor and entrepreneur. His works are considered to possess outstanding artistic merit in the field of blown glass, “moving it into the realm of large-scale sculpture.”

Where: Biltmore Gardens and is included with daytime admission

When: May 17–October 7, 2018

Dale Chihuly was quoted “Since I was a little boy I always loved glass… One night, I melted some glass… and blew a bubble… Since that moment I have spent my life as an explorer searching for new ways to use glass and glassblowing to make forms and colors and installations that no one has ever created before…”
