New Restaurant and wine bar now open in Asheville!
As our city continues to grow, we are always looking for new appetizing places to share with our guests. We have two place to rave about the next time you visit our Inn.
The first is Haywood Commons in West Asheville at 507 Haywood Rd.
One of the main issues with restaurants that I have is the noise level. It is usually too loud to hear each other to carry on a conversation and you eventually just eat and all your thoughts of conversation disappear because you need silence to concentrate on the meal. Not at the Haywood Commons. It is loud enough to keep your conversation to your table and there was no shouting. What a wonderful change! A conversation with your guest. Great Job!
Cozy. Even if it is your first time, (I have been twice now) it just feels comfortable and on cold days there is a warmth that is missing from other restaurants in Asheville. Yeap, they have a nice insulated restaurant that makes it feel like you are at home.
So attentive and wonderful. We really had a wonderful server. The less you say about service should tell our guest something. No problems and we felt welcomed.
We loved the drink choices, the ENTRÉES were so unique and fulfilling. The dessert was one of my favorites of any place I have been. We both had ( on both visits) the buttermilk panna cotta topped with blood orange, passion fruit, granita, smoked almonds, thai basil.
Parking can be tricky.
The second place is the District Wine Bar.
The District Wine Bar is in the River Arts District. The wine bar opened on Valentines Day with a soft opening. We had a wonderful time and what a cozy spot in RAD! Wine lovers should most definitely check out DWB!
We would highly recommend both locations on your next trip to Asheville!
