Each morning you will look forward to our scrumptious breakfast - as pleasing to the eye as it is to the palate. Our lavish gourmet breakfast is prepared fresh each day; nothing is frozen, and we do not even have a microwave oven on premise.
Owner and 'Culinary Institute of America' graduate, Jacqueline Glasgow, will prepare your breakfast with the freshest and purest of ingredients. From the 'fair trade, shade grown' fresh ground coffee - to free range, organic eggs from chickens raised by Robert and Jacqueline's son Dylan, only the best ingredients go into our breakfasts. We use fresh juices - not concentrates. We use organic unbleached white and whole grain flours - not refined and bleached flours. We try to use organic ingredients when possible, and always try to support our local fruit and produce farmers.
Our menu varies day to day; Belgian Waffles, Eggs Benedict, Cheese Souffle, Quiches, and Jacqueline's signature Crepes. We always compliment our Main Entrée with fresh fruit, baked fruit dishes and scrumptious over-sized muffins - Jacqueline's specialty. She takes simple and traditional recipes and applies a 'modern, updated' flair.
Although our breakfasts are a lavish and full Southern style breakfast, we can cater to vegetarian, vegan, low fat/low sugar, and most alternate menus. Jacqueline is specially trained in macrobiotic, organic and vegan lifestyles, and with some notice is happy to whip up some fantastic specialty dishes. Advance notice is necessary for these menu changes, and sometimes they may incur an additional cost.
Our dining room comfortably seats 22 people for breakfast each morning in a combination of group and individual tables.
