This historic North Carolina bed and breakfast, The Beaufort House Inn, distinguishes itself with many appealing features. The Beaufort House grounds are especially attractive to our guests, highlighting a landscape plan that incorporates native and historically relevant species. This area is accompanied by the soft sounds of our water fountain and three-tiered waterfall. Additionally, you can enjoy Smoky Mountain views of the sunrise and/or sunset on our Queen Anne wraparound porch and gazebo, complete with rocking chairs, night lights, and ceiling fans.

The inn is located in a quiet, residential, historic neighborhood a short 6/10 of a mile stroll from downtown and 2.3 mile drive to the Biltmore Estate and Village Shops. Downtown Asheville presents an eclectic mix of shopping, great restaurants, art, and music through a variety of independently owned restaurants, galleries, and concert venues.

Our inn is owner-operated by Jim & Christina Muth, who live onsite and support your needs with a well-trained, informative, and friendly staff. Everyone onsite can help you with your travel and vacation details, including dinner reservations, sightseeing, and tips for enjoying all that Asheville has to offer.
